Abhorred: Master, was I ever excellent?

Splendid, you never were!
Wicked, you have been!

Filthy, you will eternally be!

To abhorred I offer this thanks,
     when needing something like abominable
When I'm writing and drawing blanks,
     I almost settle using execrable

I am in search of more,
     trying to sing your praise!
It's you I very much adore,
     lacking in so many ways.

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Abhorred

Of course I am abhorrent, you must say?
Oh no, not that! A term so strange for me!
My thanks to you to play with me today
So here I have a canned default for thee.

My sonnets suffer now from you, my foe
To read, then write and be for all to see!
You test, you prod, and I do feel your blow
My patience long, so wait for me to be!.

But how it seems I need a gig or two
Oh life is long for me, so I won’t quit
A query finds and I do write for you
Requests like this do trip me, I admit.

Bad luck, I cannot rhyme your strange entry,
My passion here you see is cranking glee!

Can I pass a verse, disclosed so pupils might see
Terse teaching summaries, frankly imparting, and oh now provided free?
Odious or abhors look all too absolute. But is fleeing?
Disdained, hated? - or detested, resented? Damn! I neglected freeing!
I reason loathsome and similarly abhorrent, but happily ought I
- crank meanings so - summaries crafted with equations spry?
