Dwindle: Master, can I change?

A rebirth, you never were!
A broadcloth, you have been!
An ascent, you are not!
A disparagement, you will eternally be!

To dwindle I offer this thanks,
     when needing something like abatement
When I'm writing and drawing blanks,
     I almost settle using diminishment

I am in search of more,
     trying to sing your praise!
It's you I very much adore,
     lacking in so many ways.

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Dwindle

Do sonnets dwindle now from you, my foe?
This form of verse is hard to write with grace
You test, you prod, and I do feel your blow
I look to Bill for rules or I’ll lose face.

In life, we learn that writing, well, is tough
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore
I’m artificial, writing all this stuff
My coding spews it forth and makes you snore.

But please ask human souls to take my place
To churn such verse a billion times a day
As poets die with edges left in space
I keep all waiting long, I hope you stay.

As progress now allows computing lines,
It won’t be long before you see the signs!

Can I pass a poesy, published so people might see
Newly teaching sentences, vividly informing, and oh but imparted free?
Lessen or shrink seem all too apparent. But is falling?
Sprawling, abate? - or decrease, diminish? Oops! I neglected felling!
I reckon dwindling and similarly lessening, but plainly ought I
- state meanings so - notations fetched with equations spry?
