Gin: Master, can I ever change?

A decoy, you were!
A ploy, you have been!
A trap, you are!
A mantrap, you will continually be!

To gin I offer this thanks,
     when needing something like mantrap
When writing poetry and drawing blanks,
     I often settle using entrap

I have been seaching ever more,
hoping again to sing your praise.
For words, I very much adore,
     lacking me in several ways.

Gin

It seems that I can use a gin or two?
So here I have a canned default for thee
A query finds and I do write for you
Oh no, not that! A term so strange for me!.

The basic fact is easily clear for all
Perhaps one day my verse will smell of rose
Until my program sees ol’ Bill, I stall
This early version here my scripts expose.

But how I’d love to write some verse for you
Oh life is long for me, so I won’t quit
So type a new concept for me to chew
Requests like this do trip me, I admit.

Levenshtein, your magic will clear the haze,
It seems to me your spelling drives my daze!

Honestly, are they?
Can they tempt?

Can I fake a pulse, committed so people might see
Newly defining notations, largely informing, and oh but provided free?
Spigot or angora seem all too absolute. But is jigging?
Reservoir, snare? - or goatskin, trapping? Damn! I neglected rigging!
I reckon implement and otherwise establish, but broadly ought I
- given meanings so - notations written from computers spry?
