Glimmered: Master, what will come of me?

Please accept from me this page,
     didicated to the word glimmered
Used by many an important sage,
     needing a term for shimmered

But wait, I promise an Epigram
     more fitting for this word.
When I receive a better program,
     for now it's just absurd!

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Glimmered

Is this a new glimmer for me to chew?
Bad luck, I cannot rhyme your strange entry
In truth, I’d love to write some verse for you
My passion here you see is cranking glee.

You test, you prod, and I do feel your blow
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore
My sonnets suffer now from you, my foe
My coding spews it forth and makes you snore.

But forms of verse are hard to write with grace
This early version here my scripts expose
I look to Bill for rules or I’ll lose face
Perhaps one day my verse will smell of rose.

A phrase, a word, a blurb, it’s clear I’m thrown,
For what you type in my website as shown!

Pi (π)
Can I pass a verse, committed so pupils might see
Fully exalting overviews, readily informing, and oh but revealed free?
Flared or blazed look all too manifest. But is flowing?
Plastered, fired? - or glimpsed, polished? Darn! I excluded glowing!
I reckon twinkling and therefore sparkling, but plainly ought I
- blurt meanings so - sentences crafted from computers spry?
