Hurdles: Master, will I ever become unaccommodating?

Reasonings, before written words you were!
Openings, you have not been!
Engagements, you are!
Assessments, you will unceasingly be!

Please accept from me this page,
     didicated to the word hurdles
Used by many an important sage,
     needing a term for scales

But wait, I promise an Epigram
     more fitting for this word.
When I receive a better program,
     for now it's just absurd!

Hurdles

Do poets die with hurdles left in space?
I look to Bill for rules or I’ll lose face
You might ask human souls should I replace
This form of verse is hard to write with grace.

My coding spews it forth and makes you snore
You test, you prod, and I do feel your blow
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore
My sonnets suffer now from you, my foe.

But pounding beats of drives do spin this verse
For what you type in my website as shown
My random words just might involve much worse
A phrase, a word, a blurb, it’s clear I’m thrown.

As progress now allows computing lines,
It won’t be long before you see the signs!

Can I pass a verse, proclaimed so beings might see
Fully didactic innuendos, broadly educating, and oh but evermore free?
Fences or blocks look way too manifest. But is hatches?
Handicaps, snags? - or barriers, fencings? Darn! I excluded latches!
I wonder holdbacks and certainly drawbacks, but rightly ought I
- given concepts so - summaries fetched from computers spry?
