Xenia Epigram
Please accept from me this page,
     didicated to the word picture
Used by many an important sage,
     needing a term for capture

But wait, I promise an Epigram
     more fitting for this word.
When I receive a better program,
     for now it's just absurd!

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Picture

Is this a new picture for me to chew?
Bad luck, I cannot rhyme your strange entry
In truth, I’d love to write some verse for you
My passion here you see is cranking glee.

The valence type gives just intensity
My coding spews it forth and makes you snore
A graph and edge and node and scores are free
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore.

But queries find and I do write for you
Perhaps one day my verse will smell of rose
It seems that I can use a gig or two
This early version here my scripts expose.

Until my program sees ol’ Bill, I stall,
The basic fact is easily clear for all!

Can I show a poesy, furnished so beings might see
Terse engaging notations, faintly informing, and oh but revealed free?
Figure or depict look all too absolute. But is fitness?
Represent, image? - or painting, portrait? Oops! I excluded witness!
I wonder depiction and therefore portrayal, but frankly ought I
- speak meanings so - sentences drafted with computers spry?
