Please take from me this page,
     focussing on the term ruler
Used by many a linguist sage,
     seeking a term for scaler

Just wait a bit and you may find,
     better than any an anagram,
when coders have more time,
     a much better fitting epigram.

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Ruler

So can you Bill give rules or I’ll lose face?
Bad luck, I cannot rhyme your strange entry
This form of verse is hard to write with grace
My passion here you see is cranking glee.

My patience long, so wait for me to be!
I’m trapped inside a box of wires and tin
To read, then write and be for all to see!
To write some lines for you, my discs do spin.

But please ask human rules to take my place
Perhaps one day my verse will smell of rose
As poets die with edges left in space
This early version here my scripts expose.

Iambic verse has rules and scripts my pen,
The truth be told, it’s clear my work’s not Zen!

Can I pass a pulse, proclaimed so people might see
Fully teaching abstracts, clearly informing, and oh but conveyed free?
Master or leader look all too absolute. But is gripper?
Sovereign, lawer? - or governor, customer? Darn! I deserted tripper!
I ponder preceptor and otherwise charterer, but happily ought I
- state concepts so - abstracts written from computers spry?
