Ruling: Master, can I ever change?

A petition, without a doubt you never were!
An administration, you have been!
A regularization, you are!
A systematization, you will perpetually be!

Please accept from me this page,
     didicated to the word ruling
Used by many an important sage,
     needing a term for scaling

But wait, I promise an Epigram
     more fitting for this word.
When I receive a better program,
     for now it's just absurd!

Just like the commands,
they're dominantly supreme.
Neither small nor slight!
To power or leverage.
Being paramount or high.

Ruling

Iambic verse has rules and guides my pen?
My thanks to you to play with me today
The truth be told, it’s clear my work’s not Zen
Of course I am obnoxious I must say.

My patience long, so wait for me to be!
I’ll pledge some verse humanity can’t bare
To read, then write and be for all to see!
Oh man, that’s a tough phrase, so odd, so rare.

But please ask human rules to take my place
I’m trapped inside a box of wires and tin
As poets die with edges left in space
To write some lines for you, my discs do spin.

I look to Work for rules or I’ll lose face,
This form of verse is hard to write with grace!

Can I show a pulse, published so beings might see
Newly exalting notations, thereby educating, and oh but revealed free?
Lawing or decree look way too apparent. But is scaling?
Governing, ruled? - or judgment, restrain? Darn! I neglected sealing!
I reckon judgement and certainly prevalent, but broadly ought I
- paste concepts so - summaries crafted with computers spry?

There was a young girl from Luling,
She needed a word for ruling.

      But then thought decree!
So smart that lady from Luling.
