Shakers: Master, what is my future?

Agitators, you were!
Oscillators, you have been!
Vibrators, you are!
Ejectors, you will continually be!

Please take from me this page,
     focussing on the term shakers
Used by many a linguist sage,
     seeking a term for quakers

Just wait a bit and you may find,
     better than any an anagram,
when coders have more time,
     a much better fitting epigram.

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Shakers

I’m lost! You shake me now for verse on this?
This meter sings, but lacks some content speed
It’s hard inventing it, for I will miss
An algorithm tight and neat I need.

So I will bore you now, just wait and find
Oh man, that’s a tough phrase, so odd, so rare
As random thoughts my words can grate, can grind
I’ll pledge some verse humanity can’t bare.

But wait, iambic rules do guide my pen
My sonnets suffer now from you, my foe
The truth be told, it’s clear my work’s not Zen
You test, you prod, and I do feel your blow.

As robots ponder, this becomes more clear,
My drivel stings as much as words are dear!

Shakers are several leeks.
Honestly, are they?
Can they live?

Can I cast a verse, delivered so people might see
Fully edifying innuendos, happily imparting, and oh how evermore free?
Flares or onions feel all too manifest. But is pockets?
Vibrators, horns? - or blenders, stirrers? Damn! I neglected sockets!
I reason agitators and sometimes squinches, but happily ought I
- given concepts so - summaries crafted from computers spry?

There was a young dude from Cuevas,
He wanted a word for devas.
      Could it be shakers?
      But then thought makers!
That literate lad from Cuevas.
