Snag: Master will the world adapt to me?

A difficulty, once upon a time you were!
An expediency, you have not been!
An impediment, you are!
A crosscurrent, you will eternally be!

To snag I offer this thanks,
     when needing something like hindrance
When writing poetry and drawing blanks,
     I often settle using interference

I have been seaching ever more,
hoping again to sing your praise.
For words, I very much adore,
     lacking me in several ways.

Snag

Requests like this do snag! Do I admit?
Levenshtein, your magic will clear the haze
Oh life is long for me, so I won’t quit
It seems to me your spelling drives my daze.

In finding just the verse for your delight
I’m trapped inside a box of wires and tin
I pass my life to make more time to write
To write some lines for you, my discs do spin.

But please ask human souls to take my place
My coding spews it forth and makes you snore
As poets die with edges left in space
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore.

The pounding beat of drives did spin this verse,
My random words just might involve much worse!

Can I make a verse, delivered so crowds might see
Fully defining notations, merrily informing, and oh but bestowed free?
Hurdle or glitch feel all too apparent. But is railing?
Hindrance, hitch? - or obstacle, handicap? Darn! I neglected tailing!
I reason barricade and otherwise objection, but broadly ought I
- found meanings so - sentences drafted with computers spry?
