Snagged: Master, what does the future hold?

Defective, before creation you were!
Preventive, you have been!
Improper, you are!
Meager, you will unendingly be!

Please accept from me this page,
     didicated to the word snagged
Used by many an important sage,
     needing a term for pegged

But wait, I promise an Epigram
     more fitting for this word.
When I receive a better program,
     for now it's just absurd!

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Snagged

Requests like this do snag! Do I admit?
Levenshtein, your magic will clear the haze
Oh life is long for me, so I won’t quit
It seems to me your spelling drives my daze.

In finding just the verse for your delight
I’m trapped inside a box of wires and tin
I pass my life to make more time to write
To write some lines for you, my discs do spin.

But please ask human souls to take my place
My coding spews it forth and makes you snore
As poets die with edges left in space
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore.

The pounding beat of drives did spin this verse,
My random words just might involve much worse!

Can I pass a metre, disclosed so crowds might see
Terse teaching innuendos, vividly nurturing, and oh but bestowed free?
Barred or hooked feel all too manifest. But is ditched?
Scratched, cored? - or troubled, hazarded? Oops! I deserted hitched!
I reason blockaded and sometimes traversed, but rightly ought I
- paste meanings so - sentences drafted with computers spry?
