Tension: Master, can I become peaceful?

A comfort, before this poem you never were!
An effort, you have been!
A delight, you are not!
A poppet, you will permanently be!

Please accept from me this page,
     didicated to the word tension
Used by many an important sage,
     needing a term for inclination

But wait, I promise an Epigram
     more fitting for this word.
When I receive a better program,
     for now it's just absurd!

Tension

It’s tense inventing here, so will I miss?
So here I have a canned default for thee
I’m lost! So ask me now for verse on this
Oh no, not that! A term so strange for me!.

I’ll get to this, you can give me more time
To write some lines for you, my discs do spin
I’m working hard on other types of rhyme
I’m trapped inside a box of wires and tin.

But when my program sees ol’ Bill, I stall
My coding spews it forth and makes you snore
The basic fact is easily clear for all
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore.

A phrase, a word, a blurb, it’s clear I’m thrown,
For what you type in my website as shown!

Can I give a meter, disclosed so crowds might see
Newly pleasing allusions, happily informing, and oh yet evermore free?
Stress or strain feel all too apparent. But is casting?
Tenseness, tonus? - or pressure, tautness? Oops! I deserted lasting!
I ponder tightness and therefore intensity, but rightly ought I
- given concepts so - summaries written with computers spry?
