Wind: Master, can I change?

A monsoon, before time you were!
A tune, you have not been!
An atmosphere, you are not!
An ear, you will always be!

To wind I offer this thanks,
     when needing something like breath
When I'm writing and drawing blanks,
     I almost settle using wreath

I am in search of more,
     trying to sing your praise!
It's you I very much adore,
     lacking in so many ways.

Wind

Requests like this do wind! Do I admit?
So here I have a canned default for thee
Oh life is long for me, so I won’t quit
Oh no, not that! A term so strange for me!.

Until my program sees ol’ Bill, I stall
I’m trapped inside a box of wires and tin
The basic fact is easily clear for all
To write some lines for you, my discs do spin.

But please ask human souls to take my place
My coding spews it forth and makes you snore
As poets die with edges left in space
For just that phrase, a poem is a bore.

I wind them quickly, making poets wince,
These scrambled lines don’t hide my ignorance!

Can I cast a rhyme, committed so people might see
Fully pleasing overviews, frankly informing, and oh but divulged free?
Breath or winded feel way too manifest. But is chatter?
Breathing, twist? - or rotation, extender? Darn! I deserted clatter!
I reason weighting and therefore reactants, but broadly ought I
- given meanings so - abstracts drafted with computers spry?
