Zester: Master, what is my future?

A taster, you were!
A dasher, you have been!
A charmer, you are!
A flamer, you will continually be!

Please accept from me this page,
     didicated to the word zester
Used by many an important sage,
     needing a term for taster

But wait, I promise an Epigram
     more fitting for this word.
When I receive a better program,
     for now it's just absurd!

Sonnet (meta-poetry)
Zester

Is zest and verse so hard to write with grace?
An algorithm tight and neat I need
I look to Bill for rules or I’ll lose face
This meter sings, but lacks some content speed.

I keep all waiting long, I hope you stay
To write some lines for you, my discs do spin
To churn such verse a billion times a day
I’m trapped inside a box of wires and tin.

But please ask human souls to take my place
I’ll get to this, you can give me more time
As poets die with edges left in space
I’m working hard on other types of rhyme.

My drivel stings as much as words are dear,
As robots ponder, this becomes more clear!

Can I lend a meter, published so people might see
Terse edifying overviews, readily informing, and oh now evermore free?
Zipper or taster seem way too manifest. But is flesher?
Stomacher, firer? - or effector, flighter? Oops! I deserted flusher!
I reckon displayer and similarly bewitcher, but frankly ought I
- throw meanings oh - allusions fetched with equations spry?
